We have received many nice remarks about our Panniers, and one question asked a lot has been if we could make the rather nice buckets, intended to be hung from the fire iron brackets on the bunker available separately.
Well we have listened and here they are!!
Packs of six buckets are now ready, and can be ordered in the usual ways, going into the Online shop in the next day or so.
£5.00 plus a £1 for postage, they all swing on their handle and will actually carry water!
In addition to being carried on every steam loco, they were also to be found at stations, signal boxes and other locations, usually filled with sand and painted red, to be to hand in case of fire.
