Update No.12. Wooden Minks and Class 14s

Firstly our apologies for the delay in updating everyone, but we have simply been awaiting news ourselves, and had nothing to report.

To start with the good news……..the GW wooden minks are on their way and expected to be with us on or around the 20^th June, subject to the ship getting a berth promptly and no major delays at HM Customs.

Now the not so good news. The Class 14’s have been waiting for the arrival of the missing pcbs from the etchers for over two months, and our factory partners have finally lost patience with them. Even though advance payment has been made for the pcbs, they are resourcing as the delays and broken promises have caused huge problems, not just with us, but with issues in our factory caused by lots of part assembled models clogging up the assembly lines.

This is incredibly frustrating for you, ourselves and our factory, and we can only apologise for the delays. This model has taken the longest time by far to get from announcement to delivery and seems to have been affected by every possible scenario you can imagine, from political demonstrations, pandemics, environmental legislation in China to straightforward labour shortages.

Hopefully the next one will be the opposite!!
